Tell Me More® (TMM) is a month-long activity run by GHHS created to encourage everyone to see a patient as an individual and not just a condition that we want to treat and discharge home. This activity was originally designed by medical students to strengthen the critical bond that exists between people who are patients and the individuals who care for them. Patients in medical systems are often depersonalized, TMM allows patients and caregivers to get to know each other beyond their diagnoses.
This task is simple:
-Print out( or type out using your phone) the sheet below before rounds and take a few moments throughout the day to visit one of your patients and truly get to know them! This won't take more than 2-3 mins and you'll be in awe by the depth and resiliency of the patients you interview!
Although we are promoting this for the next month this project can be done at any time of the year!
Below you can watch a video showing what a big impact just a few moments of your day can have on your patients!
